About the Role
Serenity Royale Hospital was established in 2021 in the heart of Galadimawa, Abuja, with one goal: to create a place where people struggling with mental health and addiction challenges could find expert medical attention in a dignified, peaceful environment. We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic administrative team and oversee the hospital's financial health, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance with Nigerian financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for hospital management.
- Handle payroll processing, tax computations, and statutory remittances to relevant government authorities.
- Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize hospital operational costs.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain proper financial records in compliance with internal policies and auditing standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and absolute integrity in handling financial data.
