Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budget reports, and periodic management accounts.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory financial regulations, tax laws, and university accounting policies.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during routine financial audits and reviews.
- Monitor cash flow, manage payroll processes, and oversee institutional asset tracking.
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to university management for effective decision-making.
- Candidate must possess a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution.
- A minimum of 6 years post-qualification cognate experience for B.Sc. holders, or at least 9 years for HND holders.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ANAN) is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
