About the Role
Ohan Corporate Services is recruiting a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant on behalf of our client. In this role, you will oversee branch accounting operations, financial controls, reconciliations, cash management, and inventory-related financial controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review and reconcile sales, cash, bank, POS, receivables, payables, and inter-branch balances promptly.
- Monitor inventory-related financial records, stock reconciliations, physical counts, valuation, and variance resolution.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, branch P&L statements, forecasts, audit schedules, and tax documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, statutory requirements, and delegated approval limits.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower or Upper Credit.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience within retail, distribution, FMCG, or consumer electronics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP systems, with Odoo experience as an advantage.
- Active professional qualification or part-qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN is an added advantage.
