About the Role
Rapid Plus Information Technology, a trusted provider of innovative IT solutions, is seeking a detail-ored and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, ensure strict statutory compliance, and manage day-to-day accounting operations to drive our continued business success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, general ledgers, and regular reconciliations.
- Process daily financial transactions using Sage Accounting Software and VT Transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely collections and disbursements.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts on a consistent basis.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with year-end financial statement preparation and audits.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
- Assist with payroll processing, pension submissions, and expense monitoring activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or AAT is a distinct advantage.
- Essential proficiency in Sage Accounting Software and VT Transactions.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and modern financial reporting tools.
