About the Role
Abuja Clinics, a premier healthcare provider established in 1989 with branches in Karu, Garki, and Maitama, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our esteemed medical institution, ensuring smooth operations across all our facilities in the Federal Capital Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating daily accounting functions and maintaining general ledger accounts
- Preparing accurate financial analyses, reports, revenue projections, and expenditure forecasts
- Assisting with the preparation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of organizational budgets
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- Assisting with annual audit preparations and investigating or resolving audit findings
- Ensuring full compliance with tax regulations and addressing account discrepancies promptly
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of post-NYSC professional accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Solid working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance standards
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management software
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate within a team
