We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations. In this role, you will ensure financial integrity, maintain robust records, and provide actionable insights to support our continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly comprehensive financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare accurate cash management reports.
- Prepare and file statutory deductions and tax-related obligations promptly.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and internal control processes.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for annual audits.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- ICAN certification or being ICAN in view is considered a strong added advantage.
- Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or auditing environments is an advantage.
