About the Role
Emmix Global Limited is a premier consultancy firm specializing in conceptualization, development, and project management services for independent hotels, restaurants, and bars. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Accountant to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring that our operational expenditures align with our overarching brand philosophy and strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to guide management decisions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitoring customer payments and processing supplier invoices timely.
- Record sales, purchases, operating expenses, payroll, and other daily financial activities.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare cash-flow forecasts, and conduct regular bank and company account reconciliations.
- Track inventory costs, assist with stock valuation, and monitor production and operational costs to control expenditures.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and the preparation of required documents for audits and tax filings.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, furniture, retail, or hospitality industries.
- Professional accounting qualifications or active part-qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
