Key Responsibilities- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and collections.
- Process monthly payroll and guarantee strict compliance with Nigerian tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy and operational compliance.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Prepare tax returns and liaise professionally with external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow patterns and provide actionable financial insights to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is strongly preferred.
- Proven professional experience working in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
