Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and regular bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor daily income, expenses, payments, and various financial transactions.
  • Assist senior management with strategic budgeting and detailed financial analysis.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting procedures, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the wider Finance team with ad-hoc accounting-related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial data.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be currently resident in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
