About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Input daily invoices, expenses, and cash transactions accurately into accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Match bank statements with internal ledgers and actively track accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist senior finance staff in preparing journal entries, trial balances, and basic financial statements.
- Help gather necessary financial documents for year-end audits and assist in preparing statutory tax returns.
- Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and Nigerian financial regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a structured corporate environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Active progression toward professional accounting certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent.
