About the Role
Westcare Specialist Hospital, a trusted healthcare provider established in Lagos since 1998, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our institution, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting transactions, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure full tax compliance and handle accurate statutory filings with relevant authorities
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Monitor cash flow and implement effective internal financial controls
- B.Sc or HND degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of core accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare sector
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other modern accounting software
- Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and statutory financial requirements
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and strong attention to detail
