We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Accountant to join our team and oversee our comprehensive financial operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy, monitoring transactions, and providing actionable financial insights to management, ensuring our continued growth and stability.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare detailed cash management reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and various financial transactions.
- Prepare and file statutory deductions and tax-related obligations accurately.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and internal control processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support external auditors during annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Added Advantage: Previous auditing experience, ICAN certification or in view, and prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or related environments.
