About the Role
Reliable Steel & Plastic Ind. Ltd., a trusted leader in manufacturing since 1998, is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Anambra State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and streamlining our billing, collection, and revenue tracking processes to ensure healthy cash flow and maintain strong client relationships through effective credit management.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and issue accurate, timely invoices and credit notes to clients.
- Monitor outstanding balances, systematically follow up on payments, and apply effective debt-recovery techniques to reduce delinquent accounts.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations, match payments against sales ledgers, and resolve account discrepancies.
- Conduct credit checks for new clients, assess creditworthiness, and establish appropriate credit limits.
- Prepare regular aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and receivables summaries for management.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in account receivables or financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting certifications or progress toward ICAN/ANAN is a strong advantage.
- Must be a resident of Anambra State or environs, or genuinely willing to relocate immediately.
- Thorough understanding of end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, credit management strategies, and dispute resolution techniques.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
