About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage the financial records and transactions for our rapidly growing commercial lighting business.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and issue accurate client invoices for commercial lighting products and services
- Post financial transactions precisely into the enterprise accounting system
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare comprehensive management accounting reports, including cost analysis and budget tracking
- Monitor accounts receivable closely and follow up proactively on outstanding payments
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation ready for internal and external audits
- Coordinate seamlessly with sales and operations teams regarding order processing and revenue tracking
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a commercial or retail environment
- Demonstrated expertise in invoicing, ledger posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting
- Proficiency in using standard accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, alongside advanced MS Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills
