About the Role
Flamingo Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics Limited is a dynamic and growing indigenous pharmaceutical company established in 2020. We specialize in the importation, marketing, sales, and distribution of high-quality pharmaceutical and cosmetic products across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our expanding finance team and contribute to our operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting books regularly.
- Record daily financial transactions such as payments, receipts, and invoices.
- Reconcile stock utilization and manage inventory-related financial tracking.
- Track incoming customer payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Provide necessary financial documents and explanations during internal or external audits.
- Input and manage financial data using accounting software such as Tally Prime.
- Manage and monitor petty cash transactions while maintaining proper documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive budget forecasts to support business planning.
- Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities and taking appropriate actions.
- Generate accurate financial reports using accounting software.
- Ensure an efficient filing system where all documents are appropriately filed, indexed, and properly arranged.
- Assist the finance department with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
- Possess a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate 1 to 2 years of relevant professional work experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting software, particularly Tally Prime.
- Candidates residing around Surulere, Orile, Mile 2, Ijesha, Ago, or environs will have an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and high integrity.
