As we scale our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Account Officer to maintain financial integrity, ensure strict compliance with company policies, and support our continued growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and inventory management across all company branches and locations.
- Perform comprehensive customer account reconciliations, manage accounts receivables, and track outstanding payments.
- Escalate potential financial risks, high customer debt profiles, and transactional discrepancies to management promptly.
- Analyze financial trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to assist in predicting future revenues and expenses.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including preparing and posting journal entries and account adjustments.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and statutory financial requirements.
- Collaborate closely with treasury and finance teams to optimize financial operations and resource utilization.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or inventory management roles.
