About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, with our corporate office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Account Officer to join our dynamic finance team and contribute to our continued business success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports in accordance with company standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure absolute accuracy across all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial planning exercises.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation promptly.
- Monitor financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to management.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
