About the Role
Agiville Industries Limited, a pioneer in environmental protection and sanitation manufacturing in Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Account Officer to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our growing manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our mission to deliver top-quality sanitation solutions nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Maintain financial databases and ensure proper recording of all manufacturing-related expenditures.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial audits as required.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as an Account Officer within a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly SAGE.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proximity to Mile 2, Lagos, is a mandatory requirement for this position.
