About the Role
Compovine Technologies is seeking a dedicated and analytical Account Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health by managing daily transactions, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger operations, and bank reconciliations.
- Perform regular, detailed audits to guarantee absolute accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
- Forecast future revenue and expenses while developing comprehensive departmental budgets that align with company goals.
- Create and present detailed financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets for management and stakeholders.
- Assist with corporate tax audits, tax returns, and direct both internal and external audits to ensure full compliance.
- Stay updated on Nigerian financial legislation, industry regulations, and internal company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven accounting or finance experience.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
