About the Role

We are currently looking for a motivated and analytical Account Intern to join our growing finance team in Nigeria. This role is designed for a proactive individual eager to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting through practical, hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with entering and processing invoices, payments, receipts, and payment vouchers accurately.
  • Support the tracking, posting, and follow-up processes for outstanding vendor and customer payments.
  • Help prepare regular bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Maintain well-organized digital and physical accounting documentation, files, and spreadsheets with high precision.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for month-end and audit activities.
  • Support audit and tax preparation tasks alongside general administrative duties for the finance department.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with an HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or Xero is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated numerical and analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and a high sense of integrity and confidentiality.
