In this role, you will play a pivotal part in preparing students for higher education by delivering engaging lessons that demystify economic theories and real-world market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive A-Level Economics lessons in accordance with the British curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and exam preparation.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical analysis.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations, ensuring high standards of academic achievement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
- Participate actively in department meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Proven teaching experience delivering the A-Level Economics curriculum within a reputable secondary school.
- In-depth knowledge of current economic trends, theories, and examination board requirements.
