We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced A Level Teacher of Chemistry to join our dynamic academic team and inspire our students to achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous A Level Chemistry lessons in accordance with the British curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure high academic achievement.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations, practical assessments, and university entrance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior in line with school policies.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and developmental milestones.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant teaching certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience teaching Chemistry at the A Level or secondary school level within a British curriculum setting.
- Deep subject matter expertise and a strong understanding of current examination board standards and requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use innovative teaching methods and educational technology effectively.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Apapa, Lagos, and possess a strong passion for holistic student development.
