About the Role
Aldelia Limited, a leading specialist recruitment consultancy serving the global Oil & Gas sector, is recruiting a 3D Model Specialist/Administrator. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, internationally-minded organization that partners with major Oil & Gas companies to deliver world-class solutions across FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain project 3D engineering models and design databases with rigorous quality control
- Manage 3D design software systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and data integrity
- Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration across engineering, design, construction, and project teams
- Conduct model quality reviews in accordance with project standards and engineering workflows
- Support engineering teams with technical guidance, troubleshooting, and model setup
- Manage model revisions, change control, and version control processes
- Execute clash detection and design reviews to support project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and industry best practices
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 12 years' experience in 3D model administration within Oil & Gas
- Proven expertise with offshore and onshore engineering projects
- Advanced proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D), AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Strong knowledge of engineering design databases and plant design systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Relevant certification in 3D plant design software or COREN registration (advantageous)
