We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and culturally grounded Yoruba Teacher to join our vibrant academic team and deliver engaging language lessons to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans focused on Yoruba reading, writing, and conversational skills.
- Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
- Design engaging activities and cultural events that promote the preservation and appreciation of Yoruba culture and traditions.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to maintain high educational standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and language acquisition milestones.
- Minimum of a NCE, Bachelor's degree in Yoruba Language, Education, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in spoken and written Yoruba, with impeccable grammatical and conversational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to teach reading, writing, and conversational Yoruba to diverse age groups.
- A deep passion for preserving and promoting Nigerian culture and indigenous languages.
- Previous teaching experience in a reputable school environment is an added advantage.
