We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Yoruba Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and inspire the next generation of scholars.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Yoruba language and literature lessons in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure peak performance in internal and external examinations such as SSCE and UTME.
- Foster an inclusive, interactive, and culturally rich classroom environment that encourages fluent speaking, reading, and writing in Yoruba.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school-wide extracurricular activities and cultural events.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and behavioral development.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Arts in Yoruba, Education in Yoruba, or a closely related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Proven teaching experience in secondary education with a strong track record of excellent student results.
- Deep knowledge of Yoruba language, grammar, literature, and cultural heritage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A strong commitment to ethical educational practices and student development without recourse to cheating.
