We are currently looking for a dedicated and culturally grounded Yoruba Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and inspire students to appreciate indigenous language, literature, and heritage.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, interactive, and comprehensive Yoruba language and literature lessons to students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Develop detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to evaluate student progress and language proficiency.
- Foster a vibrant, respectful, and culturally enriching classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Integrate moral values, ethics, and cultural heritage into daily teaching practices in alignment with the school ethos.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student academic performance, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate actively in school events, cultural days, extracurricular activities, and departmental meetings.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Yoruba, Education (Yoruba), Arts, or a closely related field (B.Sc, B.A, or HND).
- Proven teaching experience in delivering quality Yoruba language instruction within a recognized educational setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Yoruba.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrable passion for mentoring and nurturing young minds.
