About the Role
Div-Help Schools (Div-Help College) is a reputable private, co-educational institution located in the heart of Oshodi/Mafoluku, Lagos State. Established in 2012, our school is dedicated to providing a structured learning curriculum that incorporates modern educational tools across multiple levels. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Yoruba Language Teacher to inspire our students, promote indigenous language and culture, and contribute to our ongoing academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Encourage student participation in cultural activities, debates, and Yoruba language clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or B.Sc with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized academic setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Yoruba and English.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
