We are currently looking for a dedicated Wireline Mechanical Technician to join our team in Nigeria, playing a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our field equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and cable systems to ensure optimal wireline equipment reliability.
- Read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for effective repairs.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment history.
- Operate specialized test equipment including multimeters and megameters to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Adhere strictly to company safety standards, quality control policies, and environmental regulations.
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant mechanical experience with a proven track record of excellent service quality.
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Candidates with Wireline (WL) experience who are eager to transition into a Base Maintenance role are strongly encouraged to apply.
