About the Role
Food Concepts Plc, the visionary company behind the renowned Chicken Republic brand, is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisor to join our Supply Chain Division in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in revolutionizing the West African food sector by ensuring our goods are efficiently stored, meticulously managed, and delivered in pristine condition to our production units, regional hubs, and stores.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the accurate picking, staging, loading, and offloading of stock within the warehouse environment.
- Implement cost-saving measures to reduce storage, handling, and logistics expenses.
- Maintain zero stock losses both in the warehouse and during in-transit deliveries to stores and regional hubs.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, monthly stock counts, and comprehensive stock reconciliations with outlets and the Central Kitchen.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines across all operational areas.
- Evaluate warehouse security continuously and implement robust preventative maintenance systems.
- Generate detailed inventory and working capital reports to aid management decision-making.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of proven working experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, or supply chain management.
- Membership in professional bodies such as CIPS, CILS, CILCS, CISCOM, or Lean Six Sigma is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle and Micros, alongside strong Microsoft Office application skills.
- Demonstrated ability in vendor negotiation, logistics cost management, and asset optimization.
