About the Role
SIMS Nigeria Limited, a leading distributor of major electronic brands such as Samsung, Royal, Parsun, and Powermatic, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing daily warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the seamless receipt, storage, and dispatch of top-quality home appliances across our network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the complete receipt, safe storage, and efficient distribution of electronics and home appliances within the warehouse facility.
- Ensure stringent inventory control by conducting regular physical stock counts and maintaining highly accurate digital records.
- Monitor current stock levels closely and coordinate with relevant departments to proactively prevent shortages or overstocking issues.
- Supervise the safe loading and unloading of goods while strictly ensuring compliance with all internal and external safety standards.
- Maintain a highly organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment conducive to optimal operational productivity.
- Prepare comprehensive inventory and warehouse status reports for management review as required.
- Collaborate effectively with logistics and supply chain teams to guarantee the timely delivery and dispatch of goods to customers.
- Identify, investigate, and swiftly resolve any discrepancies found in stock records and daily warehouse operations.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable relevant experience working in warehouse operations, inventory management, or professional storekeeping.
- Thorough working knowledge of modern warehouse procedures, inventory control, and optimal stock management practices.
- Proven proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office tools and computerized inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
