Rovedana is currently recruiting a professional and dedicated Waiter to join our prestigious fine dining restaurant located in the vibrant area of Ikoyi, Lagos. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable dining experience. We are looking for a hospitality professional who understands the nuances of upscale dining, possesses an impeccable eye for detail, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere for our discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing attentive and polite service throughout their dining experience.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer expert recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and etiquette.
- Handle guest inquiries, special dietary requests, and complaints with grace and professionalism.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness standards across the restaurant floor.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven professional waiting experience, specifically within a fine dining restaurant environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, food safety, and beverage service.
- Impeccable personal presentation, grooming, and hygiene standards.
