About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is seeking a dedicated and polished Waiter/Waitress to join our client's prestigious luxury dining establishment. In this role, you will be the face of the restaurant, delivering exceptional food and beverage service that exceeds guest expectations and upholds the highest standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly, present detailed menu information, and offer tailored recommendations based on preferences and dietary requirements.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and communicate efficiently with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve meals and beverages in accordance with luxury dining standards, ensuring proper table presentation throughout the guest experience.
- Proactively upsell daily specials, premium beverages, and desserts to maximize restaurant revenue and average guest spend.
- Process accurate billing transactions and handle cash or digital payments securely in line with hotel policies.
- Maintain impeccable personal grooming and adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
- Resolve routine guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues professionally to management.
- Minimum of an ND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field; SSCE holders with strong luxury experience will also be considered.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a reputable hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of international dining etiquette, menu pairing, and Point of Sale (POS) operations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Relevant certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or Customer Service are a distinct advantage.
