Chophouse Bistro and Grills is a popular seafood and native cuisine restaurant located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Now, we are looking for an exceptional Waiter ready to bring their skills, energy, and hospitality to our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome all guests with a warm, professional, and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Present menus, provide detailed information on seafood and native cuisine, and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and efficiently while ensuring high standards of presentation and hygiene.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special dietary requests with patience and prompt resolution.
- Process payments using POS machines and cash handling procedures accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining tables, stations, and the overall restaurant floor.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant hospitality certification from a recognized institution.
- Proven working experience as a waiter, server, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills in English and local languages.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm, and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Smart, well-groomed appearance with a strong passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
