About the Role
M54 Studios is an African theatre production company born from a mission to elevate African storytelling across live theatre, film, and digital platforms. From sold-out UK stage productions to the development of a premium streaming platform, M54 builds cultural IP that travels and redefines how African stories reach global audiences. We are currently seeking a dynamic and versatile Voice Actor to join our creative team and deliver exceptional audio performances for our growing slate of local and international projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional recorded or live voice performances for dubbing, character work, narration, and related audio-visual projects.
- Collaborate closely with directors, audio engineers, and producers to interpret scripts and achieve the desired emotional tone and character depth.
- Maintain vocal health and consistency across multiple recording sessions and long-form narration projects.
- Participate in rehearsals, script read-throughs, and remote or in-studio recording sessions as required by the production schedule.
- Deliver multiple takes with varying inflections, paces, and accents to ensure directors have the flexibility needed in post-production.
- Proven experience as a voice actor, voiceover artist, or stage/screen actor with a strong vocal portfolio.
- Exceptional vocal control, clarity, articulation, and versatility across different genres and character types.
- Ability to take direction well, adapt quickly to feedback, and deliver compelling performances under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with studio recording equipment, home studio setups, and digital audio workstations (DAWs) is a strong advantage.
- A deep appreciation for African storytelling, culture, and contemporary media production.
