ETAVOD Video Scriptwriting Services Limited is a dynamic digital content development agency specializing in video scriptwriting, script research, and top-tier production. We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Video Scriptwriter / Screenwriter to join our growing team in Kuola, Ibadan. If you possess a passion for storytelling, meticulous research, and turning complex information into captivating visual narratives, this onsite role offers an exciting platform to showcase your creative writing talents across diverse media formats.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough topic research and gather reliable information and source materials for various video projects.
- Write engaging scripts, screenplays, narrations, and diverse video content tailored to multiple platforms and audiences.
- Review videos, audio recordings, documents, and other source materials to extract vital narrative elements.
- Develop compelling stories with strong structure, effective pacing, and high audience engagement.
- Rewrite and refine scripts meticulously based on constructive feedback from editors and clients.
- Ensure all scripts are factually accurate, clear, original, and grammatically correct.
- Support content development initiatives for both company-owned projects and high-profile client assignments.
- Organize research materials, reference documents, and project files efficiently.
- Degree, HND, OND, or relevant certification in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Creative Writing, Film/TV, Theatre Arts, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Previous scriptwriting or screenwriting experience is an advantage, though exceptional raw writing talent will be heavily considered.
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency with a strong command of grammar and style.
- Demonstrated ability in strong research and information-gathering techniques.
- Proficiency in computer tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
- Basic familiarity with photo, video, or audio editing and digital content creation tools is a strong plus.
- Competitive monthly salary of ₦100,000, with regular performance-based salary reviews.
