We are currently looking for a dynamic and talented Video Editor Intern to join our vibrant team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in producing compelling video content that highlights local food vendors, promotes our platform, and engages our growing community of food lovers on social media.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw video footage for various social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts for food discovery campaigns.
- Select appropriate background music, graphics, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
- Ensure all videos align with LocalBuka brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of visual storytelling.
- Assist with on-set or on-location video shoots, including lighting and audio setup when necessary.
- Organize and manage digital video assets, maintaining a clean and accessible archive.
- Currently studying or holding a degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Basic or intermediate experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- A keen eye for detail, strong visual aesthetics, and an understanding of current social media video trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for food culture and digital content creation.
- Access to a laptop and a portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects is a strong plus.
- Gain hands-on experience in digital media production and startup marketing within the African tech ecosystem.
