About the Role
Okachi Charity Foundation (OCF) is dedicated to empowering underserved children by removing financial and social barriers to education. We are currently looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our dynamic communications team. In this role, you will play a vital part in visually narrating our mission, showcasing our community outreach programs, and inspiring donors and stakeholders through engaging multimedia content.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw footage captured at charity events, community outreaches, and educational programs into polished, high-impact videos.
- Collaborate closely with the communications and creative teams to develop storyboards and conceptualize engaging video campaigns.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the foundation's branding guidelines, tone, and overall mission.
- Perform color grading, audio mixing, and sound design to elevate the production quality of all deliverables.
- Optimize and format finalized videos for various digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Manage and organize digital media assets efficiently to ensure a streamlined post-production workflow.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, motion graphics artist, or in a similar creative multimedia role.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional storytelling skills, rhythm, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills to meet multiple project deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced non-profit environment with diverse teams.
- Relevant educational qualifications in mass communication, multimedia arts, cinematography, or a related field.
