About the Role
Dokitami is a leading digital healthcare and wellness company delivering premium health solutions across Africa, and we are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our creative team.
Key Responsibilities- Edit high-performing short-form and long-form videos for social media, ads, and digital campaigns.
- Transform raw footage, scripts, voiceovers, and B-roll into polished visual stories.
- Ensure optimal pacing, transitions, captions, typography, and sound design for maximum engagement.
- Incorporate AI-generated assets and modern editing workflows where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with the videographer and creative team to maintain brand consistency and production workflows.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor in digital marketing, social media, or content production.
- Proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, color correction, and sound design.
- Experience with AI video tools (HeyGen, Runway, ElevenLabs) and motion graphics is a strong plus.
- Possession of a capable editing workstation, reliable internet, and large file storage capabilities.
