About the Role
The Africa CEO Club (ACC) is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our growing media team. As an exclusive, invitation-only network of high-net-worth business founders, C-suite executives, and institutional investors operating across all 54 African nations and the global diaspora, we require top-tier visual storytelling to document our high-profile events, interviews, and strategic initiatives. Led by Founder and President Fatumata Gay, our organization is dedicated to driving economic transformation, and you will play a crucial role in bringing this mission to life through engaging multimedia content.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw video footage into polished, professional, and engaging pieces for digital platforms, social media, and internal stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to conceptualize storyboards, visual effects, and motion graphics.
- Manage and organize video asset libraries, ensuring proper archiving and version control of all projects.
- Ensure high production standards in color grading, audio mixing, and overall visual aesthetics aligned with the Africa CEO Club brand.
- Handle multiple video editing projects simultaneously while meeting strict publication deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, software updates, and digital media standards across the African and global business landscapes.
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, motion graphics designer, or similar creative role, preferably within corporate media or high-end production environments.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in cutting-edge video editing techniques, storytelling, and brand alignment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for pacing, rhythm, color, and audio quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.
