About the Role
Esdiac is a forward-thinking software company providing reliable VoIP calling and internet services tailored for international travelers and the global diaspora. We are seeking a talented UX Designer specializing in mobile and web experiences to join our vibrant Lagos team on a 3-month onsite contract. In this role, you will shape intuitive and engaging user journeys across our digital platforms, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and company leadership to transform complex telecommunication challenges into elegant, user-centric solutions. High-performing contractors may be offered a permanent, full-time position upon contract completion.
Key Responsibilities- Design intuitive and user-centered experiences for mobile applications and web platforms from concept to delivery.
- Create comprehensive wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Ensure seamless design consistency across all Esdiac digital products and touchpoints.
- Translate complex product requirements into clear, elegant, and actionable UX solutions.
- Optimize user journeys in critical product areas such as onboarding, checkout, payments, and account management.
- Conduct targeted user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in UX/UI design for both mobile and web applications.
- A strong, demonstrable portfolio highlighting end-to-end product design processes and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency with modern collaborative design tools, particularly Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Solid, practical understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile-first methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment based in Lagos, Nigeria, with immediate availability.
