About the Role
Growth in Value Alliance (GVA) Partners is a premier business advisory and market intelligence firm, renowned for delivering comprehensive recruitment and IT solutions across diverse industries. We are currently looking for a talented and creative UI/UX Engineer to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, ensuring our digital products are intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless user experiences that align with our clients' strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Translate complex product requirements into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished, high-quality UI designs.
- Conduct rigorous usability reviews, gather user requirements, and iterate designs based on feedback and user testing methodologies.
- Produce and illustrate innovative UI/UX design solutions through storyboards, process flow diagrams, site maps, and visual graphics.
- Maintain, scale, and actively contribute to the company design system while adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing teams, internal designers, and external stakeholders to ensure tailored digital user experiences.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related field with a minimum of a Second Class Lower (2:2).
- 4 to 15 years of proven professional experience in product design, UI/UX engineering, or a closely related role.
- Must possess a strong, demonstrable portfolio showcasing successful digital product design projects and UX problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, with advanced expertise in Figma.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple business functions, define project plans, and guide UX research methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
