Ascentech Services Limited is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of various vehicles by providing expert tyre services. We are looking for a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect tyres thoroughly for wear, damage, structural integrity, and safety concerns.
- Fit, remove, repair, and replace tyres efficiently across various vehicle types.
- Perform routine tyre rotation, precision wheel balancing, and accurate pressure checks.
- Diagnose complex tyre-related issues and recommend appropriate, cost-effective solutions to clients.
- Maintain all tyre service tools, machinery, and workshop equipment in excellent working condition.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal workshop safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience as a Tyre Service Technician, Tyre Technician, or in a similar automotive role.
- Demonstrated practical expertise in tyre fitting, vulcanizing repairs, wheel balancing, and related services is strictly mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating modern tyre service equipment, pneumatic tools, and diagnostic gear.
- Solid working knowledge of comprehensive tyre safety, tread analysis, and fleet maintenance practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
