About the Role
Bukka Hospitality Limited (Bukka Hut), a leading fast-food restaurant chain renowned for serving authentic Nigerian meals in clean and comfortable environments, is looking for an experienced and reliable Truck / Loading Van Driver. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain operations by ensuring that our outlets across Lagos are stocked efficiently and safely every day.
Key Responsibilities- Safely drive company trucks and loading vans from the central warehouse to designated outlets along assigned routes.
- Ensure the timely and secure delivery of food items, beverages, and operational supplies.
- Assist warehouse and outlet teams with the physical loading and offloading of goods.
- Conduct routine daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, tires, and brakes.
- Manage delivery documentation, ensuring all waybills and delivery notes are properly signed off at each destination.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and immediately report any mechanical faults to the logistics management team.
- Strictly adhere to Lagos traffic regulations and practice defensive driving at all times.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional experience driving trucks or loading vans; previous truck driving experience is compulsory.
- Possession of a valid and current Class D or Class G Driver's License.
- Strong familiarity with Lagos routes and proven ability to navigate challenging Lagos traffic.
- Good physical fitness level to handle routine lifting and assist with loading and offloading.
- High level of honesty, reliability, and punctuality with the ability to manage early morning shifts.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with colleagues across branches.
