About the Role
Strivo Labs is seeking a highly analytical Trade-In Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will manage device valuation, pricing strategies, and comprehensive costing across our growing trade-in business. You will leverage data and market intelligence to develop robust pricing models, protect healthy profit margins, and ensure our commercial offers remain highly competitive in the secondary device market.
Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and optimize pricing models and price matrices for various devices based on brand, storage capacity, and condition grading.
- Conduct thorough market research by monitoring secondary market prices, competitor offerings, new device launches, and foreign exchange movements.
- Calculate comprehensive device costs, including acquisition, diagnostics, refurbishment, spare parts, logistics, and handling.
- Enforce pricing controls, monitor valuation anomalies, and ensure all approvals align with established company limits.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards analyzing price movements, offer acceptance rates, acquisition costs, and margin performance.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related numerical discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in pricing, costing, commercial analysis, or financial analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex modeling, lookups, pivot tables, and scenario analysis.
- Strong understanding of profit margins, cost accounting, and evidence-based commercial decision-making.
- Prior experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications, fintech, asset financing, or data tools like Power BI and SQL is a distinct advantage.
