About the Role

De Santiago Milan Hotel and Suites, a top-class luxury hotel offering unmatched experiences for corporate, business, and leisure travelers, is expanding its corporate operations and seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Trade Finance Analyst. In this role, you will coordinate financing, procurement, quality assurance, logistics, inventory, and repayment activities to ensure seamless execution of financed trades, minimize operational risks, and fulfill financing obligations within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend viable commodity trade opportunities, conducting commercial due diligence on suppliers, buyers, and market conditions.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of financed trade transactions from purchase through final repayment and drawdown coordination.
  • Coordinate commodity purchases with approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and financing requirements.
  • Liaise with independent inspection agencies to oversee quality control, inspection, and certification processes before shipment.
  • Monitor logistics, transportation, and inventory movements to ensure goods are delivered in full and properly accounted for.
  • Track active trade finance portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and escalate emerging operational or credit risks.
  • Prepare transaction profitability reports, funding summaries, and market intelligence reports for management and financing partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in trade finance, commercial banking, commodity trading, credit analysis, or structured supply chain finance.
  • Strong understanding of transaction structuring, working capital financing, financial modeling, and commercial due diligence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong risk identification, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
