About the Role
Wertvoll Consulting Services, on behalf of our esteemed client South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites, Calabar, is seeking a competent, experienced, and committed Technical / IT Staff member. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of all technological infrastructure, hardware, and software systems, directly contributing to exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence in our hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners for hotel operations.
- Provide prompt technical support and troubleshooting assistance to hotel guests and internal departments.
- Monitor system security, perform routine data backups, and maintain reliable internet connectivity across the property.
- Collaborate with management to upgrade IT systems and implement innovative hospitality technology solutions.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all tech equipment and liaise with external vendors for specialized repairs.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar technical role, preferably within hospitality.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical staff and international guests.
