About the Role
Grace Court Schools, a reputable educational institution located in Awka, Anambra State, is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Drawing Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' spatial reasoning, design capabilities, and technical skills through comprehensive instruction and hands-on learning experiences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and structured Technical Drawing lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation tools.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and timely grading.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom management environment conducive to learning.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and precision among students in drafting and design.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular academic activities.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A), or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Technical Drawing or a relevant discipline.
- Prior teaching experience in a recognized secondary school will be a distinct added advantage.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated proficiency in effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Self-driven, highly dedicated, and deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring young minds.
- Must currently reside in Awka, Anambra State.
