About the Role
Bridgemead Consulting, a holistic and innovative business consultancy connecting businesses with top-tier talent, is recruiting an experienced Technical Assistant for Whitehouse Design Curators. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive technical leadership across real estate development, construction, and property projects. You will serve as a key technical adviser to the Managing Director, ensuring that all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical planning, supervision, and delivery of construction and property development projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct technical due diligence, site investigations, structural assessments, and land acquisition reviews including title verification.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate statutory approvals, building permits, and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and government agencies.
- Monitor project quality, timelines, budgets, and contractor performance while mitigating technical risks.
- Supervise the Procurement and Facility Managers to ensure quality sourcing, resource utilization, and operational safety.
- Develop technical SOPs, quality assurance processes, and governance frameworks while mentoring project teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction, real estate development, or technical operations.
- Strong working knowledge of the Nigerian Land Use Act, land acquisition processes, and building regulations.
- COREN registration is required for engineering professionals; relevant professional memberships are highly desirable.
- Project management certification (PMP) or a Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
