Key Responsibilities- Preparation of revenue accounts for the Life business and AXA Mansard Funds accounts.
- Management of investment securities and investment income across all entities.
- Preparation of half-yearly and quarterly returns for regulatory bodies such as SEC and NSE.
- Review of ledgers and balances for the Life business to ensure timely identification and correction of errors.
- Review and submission of weekly reports for all life claims recoveries ledgers.
- Participation in the preparation of yearly expense budget exercises.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual NAICOM returns.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of year-end financial statement audits.
- Conducting Operating Expense Reviews (OPR) and handling foreign currency translations.
- Working on the impact assessment and implementation of relevant new accounting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in any Business or Finance-related course.
- Active membership in a relevant professional accounting body.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a similar financial reporting or accounting role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards in Nigeria.
