We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join our dynamic team as a Team Member, Audit and Tax. Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute comprehensive audit assignments across various industries in line with firm standards.
- Perform substantive testing, analytical reviews, and verification of financial transactions and balances.
- Prepare and maintain accurate audit working papers and assist in drafting audit reports and management letters.
- Conduct tax computations and assist with the accurate preparation and filing of VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Companies Income Tax (CIT) returns.
- Identify potential tax exposures, review compliance issues, and assist in responding to queries from regulatory authorities.
- Conduct professional research on evolving accounting, auditing, and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Liaise effectively with clients and team members to ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in audit, accounting, or taxation within a professional services or audit firm.
- Active ACA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) qualification or in-progress certification is a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, auditing standards, and Nigerian tax laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting or audit software packages.
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
